For telephone bets 'acceptance confirmed' will be deemed only after an operator has completed a full read back of the wager(s) details and the customer has re-confirmed his/her PIN number and password. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure details of their wagers are correct. Once wagers have been placed and their acceptance confirmed they may not be cancelled or changed by the customer. If a client confirms a read back where the telephone clerk made a mistake, the wager is final. In the event that a customer does not hear the read back due to technical difficulties (disconnection, etc) it is the customer's responsibility to call back immediately to confirm his/her wager(s) or the wager(s) will not be entered on our system. Responsibility is with the customer to call back to confirm their wager(s). 2.8 An online wager is not valid until a transaction code (ticket number) is issued. The transaction code will appear on the screen. If you are unsure about the validity of a wager please check your open wagers, or contact our Customer Services department a. Online wagers are not guaranteed unless you receive a transaction code (ticket number). Any wager, which is accepted later than the advertised time of the event, will be void unless we are satisfied that the wager was accepted before the actual 'Off'. 3.2 In the event of there being a dispute over the time at which a wager was placed, then the time at which it was recorded on the Transactional log will govern the settlement. 3.3 In-running wagering - where we have reason to believe that a wager is placed after the outcome of an event is known, or if delayed 'live' TV coverage results in a wager being placed at the incorrect price after the selected participant/team has gained a significant advantage, we reserve the right to void the wager, win or lose 3.4 Dates and kick-off times of matches shown on our site are for guidance purposes only. 3.5 There is a maximum limit of eight (8) selections allowed in combination wagers. 4 SECURITY AND LEGALITY: Royal Sports Group and its subsidiaries, employees and agents accept no responsibility or liability for any damage or loss that may result from, or be alleged to have resulted from this web site, or its content, including delays or interruptions in operation or transmission, loss or corruption of data, communication or lines failure, any person's misuse of the site or its content or any error or omissions in content. 4.1 Placing wagers by anyone under the age of 18 years is prohibited. Royal Sports Group also reserves the right to adjust limits on individual accounts as well. 5.1 Each wagering slip is accepted on the basis that it is the investment of one customer only and the following are the maximum amounts that can be won (excluding wagered amount) by one customer in one day's wagering regardless of the wagered amount. These maximums will still apply even if by taking prices the level of potential winnings exceeds these amounts. 5.2 The following maximum amounts that can be won by one customer in one day's wagering will apply even if wagers have been placed through more than one wagering channel (i.e Internet, and Telephone Wagering ). 5.3 Where wagers have been placed on different days, "the maximum amount that can be won in one day's wagering" is determined by the day on which the final race/event on each wager is resolved, rather than the day on which each individual wager is placed. 5.4 Where selections taken from the different categories listed below are combined in multiple or accumulative wagers the lowest maximum winnings limit will apply. 5.5 The maximum amount that can be won by one customer in one days wagering, regardless of the wagered amount, is $100,000 or its equivalent in an accepted currency. Horse & Greyhound Wagering $100,000 for US horse racing $25,000 for non US horseracing $25,000 for all Greyhound racing US Sports Wagering: $100,000 for NFL, NCAA football, NBA, NCAA basketball, NHL, MLB $50,000 for all other US sports Soccer: $100,000 for all International matches and main European leagues i.e. English Premiership, Nationwide Division1, Scottish Premier League, English and Scottish cup matches, Champions League, UEFA Cup, La Liga Primera, Serie A, German Bundesliga and French Le Championnat. $25,000 for all other soccer leagues Any Other Sporting Event $25,000 for any sporting event not named above, unless advertised otherwise Non Sports Wagering $10,000 Politics $10,000All other non sporting events not named above 6 RELATED CONTINGENCY WAGERING: Multiple wagers/parlays are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the wager contributes to the outcome of another. For example, in a soccer match involving Arsenal and Everton: If Arsenal are +100 to win at home to Everton and the correct score odds for Arsenal to win 1-0 is +800, by having the double Arsenal to win and the correct score to be 1-0, a customer would be getting +1700about an +800 chance, for if Arsenal win 1-0 they would automatically have won the match. If such a wager is taken in error it will be settled as two single wagers with the wagered amount equally divided 6.1 An exception to this rule is where special odds are offered for the combined eventuality, e.g. First Player to Score/Correct Score Double, known as a Scorecast. When the related parts of a wager are resolved at different times but still within the same tournament, the wager will be settled as instructed, with the price of the second or subsequent selection being determined at each individual stage. For example, a double/parley: Roddick to win the semi final of Wimbledon, and Roddick to win the Wimbledon tournament outright As the odds of the second selection depends on the outcome of the first, the odds of Roddick winning the tournament at the time the wager was struck cannot be used to calculate the double, and the correct odds after the initial selection is completed will be attributed instead In the event of Henman losing either the Semi-Final or Final, the wager is lost. 6.2 Multiple wagers which combine different selections within different events are also not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other, For example, a double/parlay selecting: Smarty Jones to win the Preakness and Smarty Jones to win the Belmont Stakes. As the odds on Smarty Jones odds to win the Belmont Stakes depends on whether he wins the Preakness. The odds for him to win the Belmont Stakes at the time the wager was struck cannot be used to calculate the double. A special price to win both races will be quoted instead. 6.3 In the case of all multiples including selections with related outcomes, if a wager is taken inadvertently Royal Sports Group reserves the right to void part of or the whole of the wager. 7 RESULTS: Results of sporting events will be as per the podium position or adjudication of the official governing body unless otherwise stated. Any subsequent change to that result will be irrelevant for wagering purposes. 7.1 Where an event is postponed and rearranged to take place within 48 hours of the original starting time all wagers will stand. If rescheduling is for a time more than 48 hours after the original then all wagers will be void and wagered monies refunded. See each sport’s own rules section for specific variations. 7.2 In the case of overtime periods in American Sports these shall count, but in the case of extra time in soccer and rugby it shall not, and the result for payment of winning wagers shall be on the draw. 7.3 In the case of golf a playoff shall count in determining the final result. 7.4 Golf - Where a tournament is affected by adverse weather conditions, wagers will be settled on the official result, disregarding the number of rounds played. 7.5 All other sports... All other contests that involve a set length of play or time limit must play to their conclusion 7.6 In a “dead heat,” the wagered amount on a selection is divided by the number of runners(selections) involved in the dead heat. The full odds are then paid to the divided stake with the remainder of the wagered amount being lost So if two selections tie, the pay out is half stake to full odds and if three selections tie, the payout is one third stake to full odds etc. See specific sports’ rules for events affected. |
